Yep.  That's me, CBear.  Yes, people in real life call me CBear - my parents included.

I am the slightly frazzled mother to two spirited toddlers, LittleMiss and SpacePirate.  No, those are not their real names.  Technically, they are Irish Twins, born just 364.74 days apart.  Yes, I am geek enough to calculate the 0.74 

I am a woman struggling to keep herself sane in the insane world of toddlers.  I try to find different methods every day to keep my brain alive.  Crafting is one of the methods I rely on heavily.  Most people wouldn't know it from talking with me, but I've got 3 degrees in Atmospheric Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.  I don't have to prove myself to anyone, but I want to keep my brain fresh and young.

I am always getting asked if my kids are twins, which is fair, given that SpacePirate weighs the same as his sister and is just a bit shorter.   I am usually also asked what their names are.  I find great humor in telling complete strangers fun, creative names for them.  Dick and Jane.  Frank -n- Berry.  Cleatus and Clovis.  Mork and Mindy.  I'll never see them again, and really, what does it matter?   Sometimes, reading the reactions on the Grannies faces when I tell them some of the more outlandish ones is priceless and I have to stop myself from laughing out loud.
