CINCH! #bookreview

We all make resolutions this time of year, right?  Of course, I always make the “GET MYSELF HEALTHY” resolution, whether it’s lose weight or go to the gym everyday, quit soda…  there is always something.  I try my hardest to follow through, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way you think they will.
I decided to start my resolutions early this year, vowing to simply “Eat Healthy”  and while that’s a pretty easy task – learning how to combine those foods to maximum benefit can be confusing. (Of course, going to the in-laws for the holidays threw a monkey wrench in these well thought of plans – damn you coconut pie! damn you!)

Before the new year, I was given a copy of "CINCH!” by Cynthia Sass.  I started reading it, and was instantly intrigued.  The concepts are simple and easy to follow.  Cynthia lays everything out and explains our eating habits as puzzle consisting of 5 parts.  Put the 5 puzzle pieces together at each meal, no matter where you are and you are golden!

OH! and she tells you that you MUST MUST MUST eat DARK CHOCOLATE every day.  I can get behind that!
