It’s no secret that we love
Pixar movies around here… most especially Toy Story. SpacePirate is a HUGE Buzz Lightyear fan. Can you tell?
This morning he ran around the house with a mission in his little head. He collected
SOME of his Buzz toys and gathered them around him and had a sweet little conversation with each of them. It’s really funny watching him try to pick up all of the toys at the same time – he’ll bend down to grab another and a different Buzz would fall out of his arms and he’d say “Buzz! Stop that! Get up!” and “Awww nuts!”
It’s a trick to take him out and about these days – the
Toy Story 3 stuff is EVERYWHERE, and when he sees it we have to stop so he can check it out and beg to take it all home.
I have a feeling that the movie coming out in a few weeks will be our first trip to the movie theater as a family…

Here's my tip (or something I never knew): When you go to Costco, sometimes it's hard to remember the coupons from the mailer... Did you know that you don't have to have ALL of them with you to get the coupons? This weekend, I braved Costco on my own with the two kids in tow. I had planned on only getting milk, bread and Pull-ups for each monkey, so I grabbed the Pull-Ups coupon and headed out. When I got there, I remembered that I needed laundry detergent and dishwasher soap - both of which had pretty significant coupons available. But I didn't have mine, so I just wrote it off as "oh well, rookie mistake" HOWEVER, when I gave the cashier the diaper coupons, the registers also gave me the discounts for the Tide and Cascade! I had no idea!!! SCORE!
