{Random Photos and Thoughts}

I have a bunch of stuff to update for you guys (ACTUAL KNITTING!) - but I think I'll wait until it's completely finished. For now, here is a random smattering of pictures and thoughts. Enjoy!

My new favorite picture:
I love these three people - with all my heart and soul. I've been having a rough few weeks, between sicknesses, homefront stresses and screaming matches - I feel like I am the least important person in the world to these three knuckleheads. I'm worried about my self-esteem, health and general well-being, but I am trying to work it out.

"The Potentate of Totin' Freight" Heh. And, yes, I took that picture while driving...Hoppy Easter.What better way to brush ones' teeth?Hamster anyone?Noted while waiting in line for breakfast the other day:
A color wall. Truthfully, it was much more vibrant and fascinating in person. Legos!Speaking of Legos... and buttcheecks... and manboobs. Awesome!
Because if you're going to bite anyone... why not a minister? Knit and Crochet Out at the mall. This was the fashion show portion. Truth be told, I thought it was all kinda lame. The lighting was horrible and there wasn't anything interesting to see at the 3 vendors that were there. Maybe I was just grumpy because I didn't have my knitting with me, and I couldn't spend the day there like I had wanted because my DH was sick and miserable and just wanted to nap all day and I didn't get to leave the house until almost 2pm when I had showered and dressed before 9am. I just want to know how come when I am sick I have to suck it up and deal with kids/cleaning/life with no mid-day naps or time off of work. Sucks. Hurts. Being sick and not being able to sleep or rest in any way does not help one get better sooner rather than later. And honestly, the amount of barf and poop I have had to clean up off of kids, floors, couches, myself in the last 2 weeks is...well...exhausting and disgusting.Finally, the margarita I got to enjoy ON THE HOUSE at Ted's Montana Grill while waiting for my Bison Burger with swiss, mushrooms and avocado. Best burgers! So gooooooood! If you've been following my twitter, you'll have seen that things are probably changing again. Our house in the CornHole has not sold yet, and we've run out of freebie housing - so the kids and I will most likely be returning to the house in a couple of weeks. As much as we'd like to stay here with Xiris - two mortgages is not possible, and rent on a place big enough for all of use is not really feasible either. If anyone has ideas, let me know - I'd rather stay here, CornHole was not for me... Windy City is just my kinda town. And if you spare the vibes - can you send some this way so that the place will sell before I do have to go back? That would so super awesome!

Oh, and Xiris... Mother's Day is coming up. Make it happen, spoil me and be here for me. Please?
