I get amused at the little things that annoy my husband to the point of being almost angry.
The past few weeks has been his annoyance at people who do not speak properly... specifically people who are making "professional" speeches on TV. Important speeches, such as Republican and Democratic convention speeches.
We didn't watch them, but the pieces of them that were shown on the Daily Show or Colbert Report were enough to make him ANGRY. Angry enough to yell at the screen...
Mrs Bush welcoming someone on stage: "Let me in-ter-duece our next..."
Xiris: "What is wrong with you people!? It's in-TRO-duece... ARGH!"
It has been said so often that I can tell when someone does it because he ARGHHHHs each time and I can hear it across the house!
Don't even ask him about people who use "irregardless" or don't say im-por-tant (we hear im-porn-nent a great deal here!). He even gets on my case because I say comf-ter-ble versus com-fert-able.
